AP Marathon for Tales of the Arx Jericho

Greetings!

In an attempt to revive this blog, which I've sadly neglected for nearly a year, I'm going on an AP marathon for an awesome RPG I've been running and playtesting over G+ Hangouts for the past couple of months called Tears of a Machine

Written by Russell Collins, ToaM is a story game, where players take on the roles of teenage pilots operating giant robots against an alien foe threatening Earth.

A Director (GM) narrates NPCs, which play into the drama and excitement of the pilots' day to day lives. They also describe the scenes which make up episodes (game sessions). On average, there are a dozen or so episodes in a season and multiple seasons in a series (campaign), mirroring an anime TV show.

Our series is called Tales of the Arx Jericho, and we've just finished our midseason with a riveting, two-part, double episode! We're seven episodes in, and so far, it's been an incredibly fun ride.

This whole week, I'll be posting one AP per day for each episode we've played. In addition, I'll include personal commentary on what went well and what didn't, questions that arose, and anything else that other players and Directors might find useful.

If you simply can't wait to read all the APs, +Robert Ruthven, one of the players, has posted all them at once on his blog at http://wayofthezeppo.blogspot.com/.
